Goodman Networks currently employs more than 2,200 skilled technicians with expertise in networks, services and connected devices. Founded in 2000, Goodman experienced significant growth working as a trusted partner to network operators and service providers focused on delivering mobile and content-based services. Today, Goodman Networks outlined a new strategy for its next wave of growth that will leverage the knowledge, professionalism and proven track record of its technicians to expand into new markets such as consumer electronics and outsourced logistics.
Today’s connected devices impact every aspect of our daily life and while they enhance productivity and access to information, it has also added significant complexity within consumer homes. This has negatively impacted both consumer electronics manufacturers and retailers who now face returns related to misunderstood or poorly integrated consumer technology products.
Conducting more than 1.4 million network installations in homes and small offices and 20,000 home security installations annually, Goodman Networks’ technicians possess deep domain expertise around the deployment of technology in consumer environments and are well suited to serve as a trusted advisor for consumers. Leveraging this network of skilled technicians, Goodman Networks has launched a service offering designed to provide professional in-home support to retail stores selling consumer electronics. The service, named “HomeCTOTM,” will allow retailers to deliver experienced support across wide areas including in-home network, home theater, home security and IoT device installation and maintenance.
Furthermore, Goodman Networks will combine its logistics expertise with its nationwide footprint to offer another new service, Closed-Loop Logistics, focused on delivering logistics and field services to network operators and consumer electronics manufacturers and retailers. In addition to these new services, Goodman will continue to offer technician field services to network operators and communications service providers that it has been offering since being founded in 2000.
